Micro Mat Confetti has a water holding capacity superior to most other hydroponic mediums which makes it more forgiving with respect to forgetting to check water. 1 Lb of confetti when wet with 3 lbs of water (approx 6 cups) will yeild approximately 6.5 quarts of grow medium.
